Job Responsibilities

Trafilea is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI (Artificial Intelligence) Program Manager to join our PMO department. As an AI Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of AI projects within our organization.

As a member of the PMO, assigned to work mainly on AI related initiatives, you will be an ambassador of the WBAT created by the PMO. 

Guarantee the efficient, orderly and transparent execution of Projects and Programs of the Company, helping structurize the Reporting tools and frequency needed to integrate the entire company’s resources and results.

Inside each Program, Project, Tribes and/or Squad, coordinate planning ceremonies as well as proposing new ones when required. Help identify blockers and remove them in a timely manner.

Assist and create room for Planning work, define clear objectives and responsibilities for each execution, keeping close track of progress for easy decision-making, orchestrating work. 

Support the empowerment of Asana, our main execution framework, to be used successfully for planning, project and task management purposes in an effective cross-functional team communication environment. Creating Portfolios and Projects involved.
Responsible for the proper execution of the Squads Creation and Assignment process.

Liaison between IT and Marketing departments interaction and interconnection.

Job requirements

Must-have experience

  • 4+ years leading IT projects focused on Artificial Intelligence (ML, NLP, computer vision, deep neural networks).

  • Scrum Master certification or equivalent experience (mandatory).

  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban): facilitation, estimations and roadmap alignment.

  • Managing multiple projects at once, with multidisciplinary teams, budgets and schedules.

  • Advanced English, verbal and written.

Technical knowledge

  • AI frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face.

  • Data engineering and ML pipelines: ETL, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, dbt.

  • Databases: SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra), Neo4j, BigQuery.

  • MLOps: CI/CD for models, performance monitoring, automated deployment.

  • Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP (SageMaker, Vertex AI, Databricks).

  • Strong technical background to engage with development teams on technical issues and solutions.

  • Ability to structure and optimize AI workflows for model execution and experimentation.

Business and management skills

  • Translating business requirements into AI solutions aligned with company objectives.

  • Big-picture view to spot pain points, delays and blockers.

  • Critical analysis: reconciling information from multiple sources, breaking high-level ideas into details, and telling what users ask for from what they actually need.

  • Prioritization, meeting deadlines and making the most of limited resources.

  • Structured, process-driven thinking.

Soft skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Proactive and self-driven, moving projects forward without close supervision.

  • Strong problem-solving and confidence when facing challenges.
