🌟 Role Mission


The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure to support our organization’s digital transformation. You will work closely with development, security, and data teams to ensure seamless deployment, high availability, and cost-efficient cloud environments.


Your mission is to drive automation, security, and performance in our AWS-based infrastructure, helping us scale and optimize our cloud resources while following best practices.


🛠️ Responsibilities


🔹 Cloud Infrastructure Design & Optimization

  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, caching, and other optimization techniques.


🔹 Security & Compliance

  • Implement robust security measures such as IAM best practices, network security policies, and encryption.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies.
  • Continuously monitor and improve cloud security posture.


🔹 Automation & DevOps


  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Automate deployment pipelines and improve CI/CD processes.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure high availability.


🔹 Incident Response & Troubleshooting


  • Identify and resolve cloud-related incidents such as infrastructure failures and performance bottlenecks.
  • Work with development teams to troubleshoot and improve system reliability.


🔹 Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing


  • Work closely with developers, security teams, and data engineers to align cloud solutions with business needs.
  • Document cloud architectures, processes, and best practices.
  • Share knowledge and mentor other engineers on cloud best practices.

Job requirements

🎓 Qualifications


Must-Have Skills

✔️ 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.

✔️ Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, IAM, etc.).

✔️ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).

✔️ Strong knowledge of networking, security, and access control in the cloud.

✔️ Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.

✔️ Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, or similar).

✔️ Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).


Nice-to-Have Skills

➕ Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) or container orchestration.

➕ Knowledge of FinOps principles for cost optimization.

➕ Experience working in high-scale environments with distributed systems.

➕ Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
