IT Talent Acquisition Lead (LATAM based)



MISSION

The mission of an IT Talent Acquisition Lead is to identify, attract, and recruit top IT talent for an organization. This involves working closely with the IT leadership team to understand their hiring needs, developing and implementing recruitment strategies, and building relationships with potential candidates.

The IT Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. They must also stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT talent acquisition to ensure the organization is attracting the best possible talent.

As lead within the Talent Acquisition team it is expected for this person to manage the people inside the IT cluster driving meetings, alignment within the team and

with external stakeholders, strategize and plan with the team, present to senior stakeholders.

This role is instrumental in:

● Managing end-to-end recruitment for certain senior positions that requires extensive sourcing due to the complex nature of positions

● Leading the team member of the cluster and planning and aligning on the tasks and goals to be completed week by week

● Attend meetings with senior stakeholders and be on top of communications both upwards and downwards.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific accountabilities of the position

Develop and implement a comprehensive IT talent acquisition strategy: The IT Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for developing and implementing a recruitment strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives. This includes developing recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies, defining recruitment processes and procedures, and identifying and leveraging recruitment tools and technologies.

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for senior complex IT positions: The IT Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for managing the entire recruitment process for certain senior complex IT positions, including job postings, candidate sourcing and screening, interviewing, and making offers. They are also responsible for ensuring that the recruitment process is efficient and according to Trafi’s defined process

Manage TA Team IT Cluster: plan and align with the members of the IT cluster what are the best ways to find talent, work setting up goals for the cluster members, help remove blockers and give visibility to issues that need to be discussed.

Build relationships with IT leaders and hiring managers: The IT Talent Acquisition Lead must build strong relationships with IT leaders and hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and ensure that recruitment efforts

are aligned with those needs. This involves regular communication, collaboration, and feedback.

Develop and execute effective recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies: The IT Talent Acquisition Lead must develop and execute effective recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies to attract top IT talent. This includes developing and promoting the company's employee value proposition, creating compelling job descriptions, and leveraging social media and other marketing channels to reach potential candidates.

Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes, tools, and technologies: The IT Talent Acquisition Lead must continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes, tools, and technologies to ensure they are efficient, effective, and cost-effective. This includes monitoring recruitment metrics and analytics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as necessary.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment partners: The IT Talent Acquisition Lead must develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment partners, including staffing agencies and job boards, to ensure a strong pipeline of top IT talent. This includes negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.

Develop and maintain recruitment metrics and analytics: The IT Talent Acquisition Lead must develop and maintain recruitment metrics and analytics to track recruitment performance and identify areas for improvement. This includes tracking key performance indicators such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate conversion rates.

Collaborate with HR business partners and IT leaders: The IT Talent Acquisition Lead must collaborate with HR business partners and IT leaders to

ensure a smooth and effective onboarding process for new IT hires. This includes developing and implementing onboarding programs, communicating with new hires, and ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to succeed.

ROLE RELATED COMPETENCIES

(those skills that demonstrate the behavior that the person must have to achieve the above results)

● 5+ years of experience as an IT specialized recruiter with deep understanding of sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for complex IT positions.

● 2+ years of managing and mentoring a team of junior recruiters and providing guidance and support as needed. Should be able to delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

● Bachelor’s degree in business admin or human resources

● Project management experience is desirable - the ability to plan, organize, and execute

recruitment projects and initiatives.

● Worked with KPIs & OKRs inside an agile methodology framework with a continuous improvement mindset

● Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop and maintain recruitment metrics and analytics, and use that data to identify areas for improvement and optimize recruitment efforts

● A detail-oriented self-starter, an exceptional listener, and a skilled communicator (both verbal and written).

● A highly organized person that has hand-on attitude that is always looking to resolve issues

● A positive team player with a proven ability to motivate and lead their team.

● Establish effective relationships with hiring managers and IT leaders to ensure that recruitment efforts are aligned with the needs of the organization.

● Implement effective employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies to attract top IT talent.

● Evaluate and streamline recruitment tools and technology, including applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools, to improve efficiency and

reduce costs.

● Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate conversion rates, to continuously improve recruitment processes and outcomes.

● Implement diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure a diverse and inclusive IT team.

● Develop and execute onboarding programs that ensure new IT hires are integrated quickly

and effectively into the organization.

● Participate in relevant industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships

and stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in IT talent acquisition.
