Job requirements
General Accountabilities
Planning, building, and testing new features.
Encourage agile behavior within the team, being able to act as a Deputy Scrum Master.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure features do not break.
Create new and modify existing SQL schemas, stored procedures, and functions used in the database layer.
Cooperate efficiently with QA Engineers.
Participate in application design sessions with peer engineers and architects to develop the business and software specifications based on project needs.
Propose solutions that address medium to complex problems.
Take initiative to drive the technical design of the projects.
Guide and assist junior and non-senior software engineers.
Perform code reviews and promote good coding practices within the team.
Assist in setting code review practices for the team.
Investigate and analyze reported defects in a timely manner. Recommend and apply solutions including code changes, data updates or configuration modifications.
Promote optimal user experience in all development.
Suggests, presents and defends technical solutions for well-defined functional requirements.
Consistent contributor to the team's technical efforts. Ability to lead or facilitate meetings, and network with peers in other departments.
Leadership related (standard):
Select, interview, hire, and train the talents needed on time to anticipate growth with the help of the TA team when it comes to the infrastructure division.
Guarantee that Infrastructure OKRs are in line with the division OKRs, unfolding the following for the Store Dev team.
Partner with the Business Partner and L&D team to validate training & development needs for the Infrastructure team.
Define position KPIs & track them, guaranteeing that the expectations for each contributor are fully met and providing feedback on time to the team.
Role-related Competencies
& Requirements
Bachelor's degree in technical studies.
+4 years of experience managing & developing tech teams.
Proven hands-on experience with React Native, React, and native apps.
Fluent English.
Mastery of agile ceremonies (grooming, planning, dailies, retros, etc).
Excellence in Software Development best practices (design and architecture patterns, strong orientation to testing)
Good knowledge of AWS
Expected Outcomes 30/60/90 days
Understand Trafilea's business as a boutique DTC Aggregator
Analyze and gather insights on parts of the code that are not up to standards and present and execute a plan of improvement for them.
Add to your ever-growing KPIs roster
Include the KPIs that we follow for the Apps as a business
Become a great team architect: gain knowledge through specific training in Kolbe and PDA for the assessment (TalentLMS)
Be an active participant of squads/tribes having when it comes to Apps
Envision how to improve team ceremonies and interaction with different areas, and propose those plans to the TM and POs for implementation
