We are looking for a QA/QC Manager, who is passionate about Underwear, Seamless, Apparel & Fashion. Ensuring that every order placed by the Trafilea purchasing team meets Quality Standards set forth. Cross functionally manager between the ProductionTeam/ Procurement/ Production never losing sight of the Ex-Factory date. Continuing to improve our standards and speed to market strategies. Ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving operational excellence in seamless garment production.

Job requirements


Role Challenges:

  • Scheduling and Timing - Once an order is placed by the procurement team, immediate scheduling is arranged. Coordinate timing with each factory to ensure QC is checked while maintaining the ex-factory completion date

  • Promote and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Rate all factories to ensure that they meet Trafilea standards

  • Responsible for on-time testing & publishing all testing reports for all team members

  • Publish & Maintain all QC dates on the WIP report. (measuring if we have any delays) Weekly and all dates need to be reported from factories & uploaded in the system weekly

  • Increase the Standard -Enforce that the factory is using a Quality inspection report and the Trafilea defect standards

  • Increase the Standard - Use ITS testing protocols to manage testing requirements.

  • Ensure that the factory always has valid social compliance at all time

  • Ensure that the factory has all approved standards to follow, including PPS, color, packaging, trims, & labeling.

  • Ensure the factory vetting report is up-to-date


  • Report to HQ within 24 hours of all failed testing reports and inspections. Submit a corrective action plan that will not impact delivery

  • Organize & upload all QC reports and maintain a summary chart daily.

  • Attend meetings & complete reporting tasks.

  • Report to HQ when factories relocate

  • Execution - QC at the factory - all checks are 100% AQL 2.5 standards. Every order needs to be checked for the following but can require additional items to be discussed.

  • Reporting - Daily reporting to Senior Leadership on all QC’s within 24 hours on all failed test reports- presented in a simple format. In the event an order is not hitting Traflea Standards this needs to be brought to the attention of Senior Leadership Immediately, and only they can override the failure.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement in quality assurance and quality control processes to achieve higher levels of efficiency and quality.

  • Keep up with Implementation and maintain a robust Quality Management System to ensure consistent product quality.


Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of Quality experience (focused on intimates/seamless garments)

  • 5+ years of management or process management experience

  • Good English communication skills

  • 5+ years of product exposure or related

  • Basic Excel and PowerPoint
