We are looking for a Data & Analytics Director who will lead the company’s data strategy, ensuring the effective collection, analysis, and use of data to drive informed business decisions. This role requires a visionary leader who can manage and develop a high-performing data team, align data initiatives with business objectives, and drive innovation through data-driven insights.


Expected Outcomes & Responsibilities

    • Lead the development and implementation of Trafilea’s data strategy.

    • Oversee the data science, data engineering, and business intelligence teams.

    • Ensure data accuracy, availability, and accessibility across the organization.

    • Drive the creation of data models, dashboards, and reports to support business needs.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with business goals.

    • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and analytics.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in data leadership roles, with a strong track record of building and managing data teams.

  • Expertise in data science, data engineering, and business intelligence.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
