The Entry-Level Technical Designer Assistant supports the technical development of garments by assisting with fit sessions, updating specifications, and documenting fit and construction comments. This role helps ensure products meet the desired fit and quality standards and provides an opportunity to grow technical skills in garment construction and product development. Working under the guidance of senior team members, the specialist contributes to cross-functional collaboration with Product Development, Design, and Sourcing teams.

Job requirements

  • Assist in virtual or in person fit sessions and take notes on garment fit and construction feedback

  • Support the creation and maintenance of tech packs, including BOMs, specs, and construction details

  • Enter and update fit comments based on team direction and factory feedback

  • Review sample measurements and help track approvals across development stages

  • Help communicate changes and clarifications to factory partners in a timely and organized manner

  • Learn and apply internal fit and construction standards across styles

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Suite, G-Drive,

  • Participate in team meetings and trainings to develop technical design knowledge
